Chana Masala

Ingredients: 1.       1 ¾  Cup of chickpeas/ chana (pressured cooked) 2.       2 Medium size onions (Finely chopped) 3.       2 Medium size tomatoes (Blanched & chopped) 4.       ½ tsp fennel seeds 5.       1 tbsp ginger garlic paste 6.       ½ tsp coriander powder 7.       ½ tsp turmeric powder 8.       1 tsp chilli powder 9.       ½ tsp Kashmiri chilli powder 10.   ½  tsp garam masala 11.   1 tbsp chana masala powder 12.   Salt to taste 13.   2 tbsp oil To know about the blanching process, please visit the below link. https://supriyalakshminarayanan.blogspot.com/2018/08/home-style-pav-bhaji.html For Making Chana Masala   1.       Heat a kadai by adding 2tbsp oil. Ingredients: 1.    2 Cups wheat flour 2.    Some mint leaves, coriander leaves &1 green chilli (made as coarse paste) 3.    ¼ tsp turmeric 4.    ¼ tsp kashmiri chilli powder 5.    ½ tsp ajwain(palm-crushed) 6.    A pinch of garam masala 7.    Salt to taste 8.    Water as Required 9.     O il to fry & to roll poori For Making Masala Poori Dough   1. In a mixing bowl add   ·          2 Cups wheat flour ·          Some mint leaves, coriander leaves &1 green chilli (made as coarse paste) ·          ¼ tsp turmeric ·          ¼ tsp kashmiri chili powder ·          ½ tsp ajwain( hand-crushed ) ·          A pinch of garam masala ·          Salt to taste ·          2 tsp oil And mix it well. Ingredients: 1.    2 cups of dosa batter 2.    1 Medium size tomato (finely chopped) 3.    10 nos. small onion (shallots) 4.    1 inch-sized ginger 5.    4 – 5 garlic pods 6.    3 red chillies 7.    ¼ tsp pepper 8.    ¼ tsp cumin seeds 9.    Salt to taste For Making Tomato Dosa Batter: 1. In a mixer jar, add ·    1 medium-size tomato (finely chopped) ·    10 nos.small onion (shallots) ·    1 inch ginger ·    4 – 5 garlic pods ·    3 red chillies ·    ¼ tsp pepper ·    ¼ cumin seeds                                   Grind it into fine paste. 2.    Add this paste to the dosa batter and mix it well. At this stage, add salt to taste. 3.    With this the batter for tomato dosa is ready. Rice Ball

This is a snack recipe that I made with leftover rice. This recipe is best suited for kids who are fussy eaters . Ingredients: 1.    1 cup cooked rice (mashed) 2.    1 tbsp gram flour 3.    2  tbsp breadcrumbs 4.    1 tsp red chilli powder 5.    ¼ tsp kashmiri chilli powder 6.    ¼ tsp pepper powder (crushed) 7.    1 tbsp sweet corn 8.    2 tbsp grated cheddar cheese 9.    Oil for deep frying.  For Making Rice Ball: 1.    In a mixing bowl,add ·    1 cup cooked rice (mashed) ·    1 tbsp gram flour ·    2  tbsp breadcrumbs ·    1 tsp red chilli powder ·    ¼ tsp kashmiri chilli powder ·    ¼ tsp pepper powder (crushed)                     Mix it well. 2.     Now add ·    1 tbsp sweet corn ·    2 tbsp grated cheddar cheese                     Mix it gently and make a dough. 3.    Then make medium size balls from the dough. 4.    Now heat a kadai and adding   enough oil for deep frying the balls. 5.    Once t
